UK royal naval ship visits Hai Phong
PANO - The UK Royal Navy’s ship HMS Enterprise on February 19 docked at Tan Vu port, officially starting a courtesy visit to Hai Phong.
Over the past years, the bilateral relations in general and the defense cooperation in particular between Vietnam and the UK have been developed.
This visit is one of the specific activities to carry out the contents of the cooperation deal agreed by the two Ministries of Defense, thus contributing to promoting the traditional friendship between the two countries, and the bilateral defense cooperation, including naval cooperation.
During its stay in Hai Phong city, the ship’s crewmembers are expected to pay courtesy calls to leaders of Hai Phong city People’s Committee and the Commanders of the Naval Command, as well as other Vietnamese military units.
On its scheduled, the ship will leave Hai Phong city on February 25.
