PANO – On May 30th Senior Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, received a mission of the Tanzania National Defense College, led by its Vice Commandant, Brigadier General Yohana Ocholla Mabongo.

At the reception, the host affirmed that Vietnam has always highly valued relations with Tanzania and thanked African countries, including Tanzania, for their invaluable support for Vietnam. General Tuan spoke highly of the guest’s visit and said the two sides will find more substantial and practical cooperation opportunities in the future. The cooperation areas to be boosted include delegation exchange, education and training, sharing of experience concerning military units joining economic activities, and more.
The guest stressed that the visit is of special importance, enhancing the relations between the two nations and armies. Tanzania hopes to learn more from Vietnam’s experience in such areas as economic development, defense strategies, maintaining peaceful environments, etc.
