Sr. Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan attends DSEI 2025 in U.K.

PANO - A delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, attended the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 in the U.K. from September 9 to 11 at the invitation of the U.K. Department for Business and Trade.

Vietnamese defense delegation attends DSEI JAPAN

Sr. Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan leads a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense to attend DSEI 2025 in the U.K.

During the exhibition, the Vietnamese delegation visited booths and display areas of major international businesses and corporations, and held meetings and exchanges with various partners on issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.

Gen. Tan expressed appreciation for the participation of international defense ministries and enterprises in the Vietnam Defense Expo 2024, which contributed significantly to the expo’s success. He also called for continued support and active participation in future editions of the expo.

Held biennially at the ExCeL London by the U.K. Department for Business and Trade, DSEI is one of the world’s most prestigious international defense and security exhibitions. According to organizers, this year’s event featured more than 1,600 defense enterprises from 50 countries and territories, along with numerous trade visitors and high-level delegations from defense ministries and militaries of many countries worldwide.

In implementing the Party and State’s policy on building and developing an autonomous, self-reliant, dual-use and modern defense industry, the Ministry of National Defense has actively promoted international cooperation in the field in recent years. Vietnam has also successfully hosted two editions of the Vietnam Defense Expo in Hanoi, raising the image and position of Vietnam’s defense industry in the region and the world.
