Tong Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Education and Information, emphasized that over the past years, the Department of Political Education and Information of the two militaries have consistently paid attention to organizing refresher courses, professional development programs, and experience-sharing activities. These efforts aim to enhance research, advisory, leadership, and instructional capabilities, as well as professional expertise and organizational skills in conducting ideological and cultural work, thereby meeting the mission requirements of both militaries in the new period.

The course is designed to provide practical and fundamental knowledge on information dissemination and education, cultural and artistic activities, oral dissemination, publication management, and emulation and commendation work. The obtained knowledge will serve as a foundation for Lao officers to study and effectively apply it in practice, contributing to improving the quality of ideological and cultural work within the Lao People's Army.
Trainees will also visit several grassroots units of the Vietnam People's Army to exchange experiences in political education, cultural and artistic activities, and emulation and commendation work.
