Preparation for first Vietnamese-Chinese young officer exchange inspected
PANO - A working delegation from the Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, led by its deputy political chief Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai, has conducted a field survey in Quang Ninh province and inspected the preparations for the first exchange program between young officers of the Vietnam Border Guard Command and the National Immigration Administration of China.
The delegation surveyed the planned venues for exchange activities in Quang Ninh province, including Mong Cai International Border Gate, Trang Vi Observation Station (Tra Co Border Post of the Quang Ninh provincial Border Guard Command), Muong Thanh Hotel, and Ha Long International Cruise Port, among others.

After the field survey, Col. Hai had a working session with the Quang Ninh provincial Border Guard Command, the Border Post of Mong Cai International Border Post, and Tra Co Border Post to agree on contents and plans on organizing exchange activities.
Having heard the units’ reports and suggestions, the deputy political chief of the Vietnam Border Guard Command affirmed the significance of the exchange program. He said that the diplomatic event aims to further promote the vanguard role, creativeness, and aspiration to make contribution of young officers of the Vietnam Border Guard Command and the National Immigration Administration of China.
He asked the Quang Ninh provincial Border Guard Command and border posts to seriously and promptly cooperate with localities and relevant agencies to make preparation for the exchange; review, assign missions to units, foster inspection to ensure the success of the event and absolute safety for delegates.

Based on actual situation of units and localities and the survey’s results, the working delegations will complete a report before submitting it to the Vietnam Border Guard Command to decide on the appropriate locations and time for exchange activities.
