Just a few hours after the earthquake occurred, Mytel launched an emergency support campaign for approximately 4 million customers across 98 districts nationwide. Each customer in the affected areas is promptly provided with 1GB of data, 300 minutes of calls, and 300 SMS messages, enabling them to contact their relatives, receive updates from the government and rescue agencies. Mobile charging stations have also been set up in many severely earthquake-hit areas to help people maintain connections during widespread power outages.
