MR 4 reviews security preparations for Vietnam - Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange
PANO - A delegation from the Military Region 4 Command, led by its Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff Major General Le Hong Nhan, inspected combat readiness and security preparations for the 3rd Vietnam - Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange in Kim Bang commune, Nghe An province, on June 30.

During the inspection, the delegation reviewed preparations at venues designated for activities under the friendship exchange program. It also examined the readiness of participating units, assessed the overall security situation, and reviewed plans for the deployment of personnel and equipment, force positioning, accommodation areas, and transportation routes supporting the event.
The Military Region 4 Command commended the pro-active and responsible efforts of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, the provincial Border Guard Command, and other Military Region 4 units in preparing for the event.

The delegation instructed all participating units to continue coordinating closely with local authorities and relevant agencies to finalize combat readiness plans, strengthen security and safety measures, ensure logistics and technical support, develop contingency scenarios, and conduct realistic rehearsals to help ensure the successful organization of the 3rd Vietnam - Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange.
