Speaking at the exchange, Senior Colonel Dam Quang Ngoat, Commanding Officer of the Long An Provincial Border Guard Command, highlighted the close cooperation between the border guard force of Long An and the border protection forces of Svay Rieng and Pray Veng provinces of Cambodia. They have effectively implemented the contents of cooperation agreements and protocols signed between Vietnam and Cambodia, Long An and Svay Rieng province, and Long An and Pray Veng province.

The collaboration include joint efforts in protecting border markers, enhancing the exchange of information related to security and order in the border area, and timely coordination to address issues according to regulations.

Representatives from the Cambodian units stressed that the Long An Provincial Border Guard Command and the border protection forces of Svay Rieng and Pray Veng have closely cooperated in managing and protecting the border, seeing positive results, especially in controlling and preventing illegal border crossings and combating crime.
