Expressing his satisfaction with the cooperation outcomes between Huawei and Viettel, General Chien emphasized that there remains vast potential for further partnership. He suggested that Huawei continue close coordination with Viettel to effectively implement the Strategic Cooperation Agreement signed in June 2025, and to expand cooperation in research, development, and technology transfer for 5G/6G.
He also highlighted the importance of promoting the supply of 5G equipment in the Vietnamese market, ensuring timely delivery, supporting Vietnam in expanding into overseas markets, and exploring potential areas of collaboration such as high-tech industries, digital transformation, and the design and production of systems including solar power, electric vehicles, remotely controlled autonomous vehicles, and data centers. He further noted the need to soon organize a Viettel delegation visit to Huawei headquarters in September 2025.
Both sides expressed confidence that, with goodwill, capacity, and a spirit of openness, cooperation between Viettel and Huawei will continue to grow stronger in the time ahead.
