Dak Nong unit extends greetings to Mondulkiri provincial armed forces on Chol Chnam Thmay Festival
PANO - A delegation of Vietnam’s Dak Nong provincial Border Guard Command, led by its head Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dinh visited and extended Chol Chnam Thmay greetings to the armed forces of Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province on April 9-10.
The delegation visited the Mondulkiri provincial Police Department, the Gendarmerie Command, and the Military Sub-Region.

At each stop, the Vietnamese delegation was warmly welcomed and briefed on local economic situation, foreign relations, unit development, and the outcomes of bilateral coordination in recent times.
Col. Dinh expressed his sincere thanks for the warm hospitality and extended his best wishes to all officers, soldiers, and their families in the Cambodian units.
He also took the occasion to share updates on Dak Nong’s socio-economic and political situation and expressed appreciation for the continued support from Mondulkiri’s armed forces in facilitating cross-border movement and economic activities for the people in Dak Nong border areas.

The Vietnamese officer emphasized the importance of continued collaboration, especially regular exchange of information regarding crimes and illegal border crossings, so that both sides can develop timely strategies for combat and prevention measures.

Leadership from the three Cambodian units expressed their delight at welcoming the guest. They affirmed their commitment to maintaining coordination in border management and protection, crime prevention, and ensuring political security and social order in the border areas.
