Cambodian high-ranking officers make a field trip to Ha Tinh provincial Border Guard
PANO – Trainees of the 17th training course for high-ranking officers of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces at the Academy of National Defense have had a field trip to the Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guard.
During the visit, the delegation, led by Major General Chan Vuthy, was briefed on the situation in the borderline and coastline in the province and the unit’s task implementation over the past time.

Colonel Vo Tien Nghi, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard, also shared the provincial border guard’s experiences in border protection, crime control and other assignements.
On behalf of the delegation, Major General Chan Vuthy thanked the provincial Border Guard Command for the warm welcome, and said that while studying in Vietnam, the Cambodian high-ranking officers had deep insight into the national construction and protection traditions of the Vietnamese army and people, including the good tradition of the provincial Border Guard.
The Cambodian head delegate also affirmed, the knowledge and practical experience from the trip are valuable to Cambodian trainees, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship between the two militaries and peoples.
