ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet kicked off
PANO - The 32nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM-32) was officially kicked off on November 14 in the Philippines.

Themed “Strengthening Partnership and Camaraderie towards Regional Stability,” the AARM-32 brought together 10 contingents of excellent shooters from armies of the ten ASEAN member countries.
The event aimed to strengthen solidarity and friendship among militaries of ASEAN member states. This annual event offers an opportunity for the militaries, particularly the armies of participating countries, to exchange experience, promote cooperation, and contribute to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, as well as the overall development of the region and the world.
After the opening ceremony, heads of the contingents joined friendly shooting competition and participating shooters started their first shooting competition on November 15.
The contingent of the Vietnam People’s Army with 25 shooters will compete in five categories, namely men’s pistol, women’s pistol, rifle, carbine, and machine gun.

The AARM-32 is not only a venue for excellent shooters from the armed forces of ASEAN countries to compete, but also provides an opportunity for the shooters to strengthen solidarity, friendship, mutual understanding, as well as master their skills. It is also an occasion for the armies of ASEAN countries to show their commitment to accelerating stronger and more substantive cooperation, making contributions to the maintenance of peace, stability, and sustainable development for each country and people in Southeast Asia and in the world.
