On August 27, a closing ceremony of the event and two others was held by the host Uzbekistan, at Forish training ground in Jizzakh.

Addressing the event, Colonel Karshiev Khamdam Alikulovic, Deputy Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan thanked countries for sending teams to take part in Uzbekistan-hosted events, including “Safe Environment,” “Field Kitchen,” and “Good Military Man.” He also highly appreciated the great efforts and good performances of participating teams during the games.

In the “Safe Environment” event, the Vietnamese chemical team competed with five other teams from Russia, Uzbekistan, China, Belarus, and Iran. The event is for nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) teams. 

In this year’s event, the Vietnamese chemical team outstandingly won a bronze medal, an impressive achievement of the team since 2019.

Apart from the bronze medal, the Vietnamese chemical troops also brought home individual awards. In particular, First Lieutenant Nguyen Duc Son was named outstanding shooter; First Lt. Vu Duy Khang outstanding head of crew; Captain Tran Trong Phu outstanding scout; non-commissioned Second Lt. Le Xuan Sang outstanding driver. Notably, Senior Captain Le Minh Hoanh won the eminent referee award.
