17th Heads of Asian Coast Guard Agencies Meeting held virtually
PANO - The 17th Heads of Asian Coast Guard Agencies Meeting (HACGAM-17) took place virtually on December 8 under the chair of Major General Le Quang Dao, Commanding General of the Vietnam Coast Guard.
During the event, delegates were informed of the implementation of law enforcement activities at sea this year and cooperation orientations in 2022. They hoped that practical and effective cooperation should be further implemented through four pillars of HACGAM, namely search and rescue, environmental protection, sea-related illegal activities management, and capacity building.
