PANO – 500 local people in Laos’ Champasack province were provided with health check-ups and given free medicines by doctors and nurses of Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defence on December 22nd and 23rd.
These were key activities in the ongoing Vietnam – Laos Trade Fair 2015, themed “Friendship, cooperation, and development”, in the locality.
Accordingly, local children, adults, war veterans, policy beneficiaries, the needy, and soldiers were given free pediatric, obstetrical, eye, ear, teeth, nose, and throat check-ups.
The military hospital also handed over some medical equipment and medicines to local health stations.
On the occasion, the fair’s organizers presented gifts to 400 needy officers’ families and war veterans and locals in need.
Local authorities and people thanked the Vietnamese side for organizing such a meaningful program that contributes to beautifying the special traditional friendship and solidarity between the two countries, armies, and peoples.
