PANO - The Russian Science and Culture Centre held a press briefing on September 30 in Hanoi to announce the sixth phase of “Russian universities in Vietnam” project.
In the academic year 2016 – 2017, the Russian Government will grant 855 scholarships to Vietnamese students.

The project has been jointly carried out by the Russian Cooperation Agency (Rossotrudnichestvo) and the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam since March 2014 with the aim of promoting Russian education to Vietnamese students.
Over the past two years, about 50 representatives from Russian universities have visited Vietnam.
The sixth phase of the project aimed to strengthen cooperation on science, education and friendship between Russia and Vietnam as well as to create a new driving force for Russian projects in Vietnam to strive for technological innovation.
Six Russian universities participate in the sixth phase of the project will organize seminars, meetings, Olympic contests, student exchange programs to seek connections between the two sides’ universities.
