Tatarstan helps strengthen Vietnam-Russia ties

Currently, Vietnam and Russia are excelling in a range of fields, such as trade, oil and gas, nuclear power and military techniques, Deputy Prime Minister Minh told Tatarstan President R.Minnikhanov at a reception in Hanoi on September 8.
He highlighted the significance of further fortifying cooperation between localities of Vietnam and Tatarstan and suggested Tatarstan put its available strengths forward for effective bilateral cooperation on education and training, scientific research, oil and gas, engineering, agriculture and tourism.
He thanked the Tatarstan government and people for creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese nationals to live and work in.
Furthermore, Minh said he believed the visit marked the beginning of a long-lasting relationship.
President R.Minnikhanov said Tatarstan saw the potential to work with Vietnam in many fields, avowing to devise concrete proposals to boost linkages and strengthen the Vietnamese-Russian partnership.
Earlier that day, Minnikhanov held working sessions with the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Education and Training, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as participating in talks between businesses from Tatarstan and Vietnamese partners.
