Minister Khanh said that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and WB are joining hands in projects on carbon market, sustainable development in the Mekong Delta, and land management, among others. Thus, he asked Carolyn Turk to direct WB officials to continue to closely coordinate with MONRE’s units to speed up the progress of such projects.

In her speech, Carolyn Turk confirmed that WB always treasures its close cooperative ties with MONRE. She believed that this relationship will be stronger and the cooperation in natural resources and environment will further develop, bringing about practical outcomes.

Carolyn Turk will take on new post in Indonesia and Timor Leste in April this year. Therefore, Minister Khanh expressed his hope that in her new position, she will contribute to sustainable development of the host countries and continue to support Vietnam in bilateral or regional cooperation in the future.
