Under the leadership of the ambassador, the embassy has coordinated with Vietnamese agencies and organizations to hold cultural and art exchange programs, which have enhanced the public’s access to and participation in cultural and artistic events, and helped promote cultural diversity and foster the two peoples’ exchanges.

The ambassador has also played a crucial role in the joint efforts of both sides to successfully arrange high-level meetings and delegation exchanges, and organize major events, such as the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Austria (December 1, 1972 – 2022).

He has also paid due attention to promoting bilateral cooperation in trade, economics, science, and education, added Son.

Expressing his honor to receive the insignia, Ambassador Hans-Peter Glanzer thanked the VUFO, the Vietnam-Austria Friendship Association, and Vietnamese partners for their support during his tenure.

Stressing the importance of the friendship and cooperation between the two peoples, the ambassador said he believes people-to-people exchanges will serve as a bridge to promote collaboration in various fields such as economics, investment, trade, education, culture, and tourism; and further deepen the relationship between Vietnam and Austria.
