Loi briefed his hosts of the development of the media sector in Vietnam and presented methods to adapt to the era of blooming information and improve journalistic skills.
For his part, Ricardo touched upon new technologies used in the press circle in Cuba and the transformation of Cuba’s media and the UPEC in particular in the new circumstances.
On this occasion, the UPEC opened a photo exhibition on late President Ho Chi Minh, displaying works by press agencies of the two countries, including many that have never been released before.
Loi described the works as invaluable heritage of Vietnam and Cuba and the two associations.
During the stay in Cuba, the VJA delegation is scheduled to meet officials from the Communist Party of Cuba and visit some key media agencies and press training institutions in the country.
