Vietnam, Mexico share experience in personnel training, public administration
A delegation of the Hanoi-based Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics led by its Deputy Director Nguyen Viet Thao paid a working visit to Mexico from August 27-30, aiming to exchange and learn from the country’s experience in personnel training, research and public administration.

The delegation had working sessions with representatives from the Matias Romero Institute, the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), and the Faculty of International Relations under the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
The two sides agreed to intensify cooperation and organize joint seminars on international issues of mutual concern as well as strategic research and policy making.
The Vietnamese side recommended the Matias Romero Institute and the Faculty of International Relations consider providing scholarships for young lecturers of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
Thao and the INAP President also agreed to soon sign a memorandum of understanding on training cooperation in the field of public administration.
While in Mexico, the delegation also visited the Vietnamese Embassy and paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his statue in the historic center of Mexico City.
