Based in Luanda, Meditex General Clinic operates with a team of around 200 Cuban and Angolan medical professionals, delivering essential and specialized healthcare services, including minimally invasive surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and cardiovascular treatments. The clinic also provides vaccinations, home-based outpatient care, fertility support, and remote medical consultations with top institutions in Havana, such as Hermanos Ameijeiras General Hospital and the International Center for Neurological Restoration (Ciren). Additionally, it is actively involved in medical research and training programs for healthcare personnel.
Dr. Mario Delgado, Meditex’s General Director, emphasized the clinic’s strong track record, built over three decades of expertise and rigorous training. He cited remarkable achievements in 2024, including a zero maternal and infant mortality rate, no hospital-acquired sepsis cases, and the successful treatment of 88 critically ill patients, 21 more than in the same period last year.
