VTV highlights the solidarity of the Vietnamese people, and affirms it will help the Southeast Asian country to recover from Typhoon Yagi.

The VTV on September 10 spotlighted the solidarity of the Vietnamese people, affirming it will help the Southeast Asian country to recover from the most powerful storm hitting the nation in 30 years.

Over the past days, the Venezuelan and Latin American media have updated the developments of the typhoon, and hailed the Vietnamese Government and people’s recovery efforts.

The typhoon and its subsequent torrential rains, floods, landslides, and bridge collapse have left 200 people dead or missing in the northern region of Vietnam as of September 11 morning. It was the third storm entering the East Sea (South China Sea) so far this year.
