According to Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Cao, the RoK led foreign markets in the number of tourists visiting Thua Thien-Hue with 207,783 visitors, making up 25.5 percent of the total number of foreign holidaymakers.
Thua Thien-Hue is also an attractive destination for many Korean investors, he said, adding that a signing ceremony was recently held in Hue city to set up twinning ties between the province and Wando district in South Jeolla province.
Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate in people-to-people exchanges, economics, culture, art and sports. Particularly, the sides will exchange new aquaculture techniques and collaborate in seafood processing, tourism and labor supply.
