Romania’s National Day marked in HCM City
PANO - The Romanian Embassy and the Consulate General of Romania in Ho Chi Minh City, on December 3 celebrated the 100th anniversary of Romania’s National Day (December 1) and 27th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-Romania Friendship Association (November 9).
Present at the event were Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Valeriu Arteni, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Huynh Cach Mang, Honorary Consul of Romania in Ho Chi Minh City Tran Thi Thanh Nhan (Ly Nha Ky).

Speaking at the ceremony, Romanian Ambassador to Vietnam Valeriu Arteni said that over the past years, many provinces and cities of the two countries promoted various twinning activities to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, Huynh CachMang also congratulated them on the National Day of Romania and expressed his gratitude to the Romanian people for their great support and assistance for Vietnam during its struggle for national liberation and reunification in the past and in the current national construction and protection cause.
He also hoped that the diplomatic relations between the two countries would further develop, thus promoting cooperation between Vietnamese businesses and their Romanian partners.
He expected that the model of cooperation between the Bucharest and HCM City will soon be implemented in the coming time.
