Accompanying the Senate President on his official visit are Martin Frelich, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic; Zdenek Nytra, member of the Committee on E.U. Affairs of the Czech Senate; Jana Mrackova Vildumetzova, member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security; Josef Klement, member of the Senate Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Human Rights and Petitions; Vaclav Laska, member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security; Ondrej Lochman, member of the Senate Committee on National Economy, Agriculture and Transport; Dana Kovarikova, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Sue Nguyen, Director of the Office of the President of the Czech Senate; and Vera Jelinkova, Adviser to the Senate President.

The visit by the Czech Senate President holds significant importance as it reaffirms Vietnam’s foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralism and diversification of external relations, and its proactive and active pursuit of comprehensive, extensive and effective integration into the world. It also demonstrates that parliamentary cooperation is an important pillar of bilateral relations and underscores the commitment of both countries to strengthening linkages, promoting cooperation, and elevating Vietnam - Czech relations to a new height.
