She made the remarks during a working session with Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Duong Hoai Nam in Prague on May 30.

Quittova said she will continue making contribution to the development of traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

She took the occasion to inform the Vietnamese diplomat about cultural exchange programs to be held in Prague, Brno and Karlovy Vary in 2024. She invited the Ambassador and staff of the Vietnamese embassy to the events.

Ambassador Nam thanked MP Quittova for her sentiments and efforts in strengthening relations between the two countries' legislatures, and contributing to promoting Vietnam - Czech Republic relations towards the 75th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations in 2025.

Nam agreed with Quittova's assessment on the areas that the two countries have a lot of potential and room for cooperation such as education, labor, tourism, and culture.

Sharing the host of plans of visits to the Czech Republic by delegations of the Vietnamese National Assembly in the second half of this year, he proposed that the Czech - Vietnamese Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group coordinate to promote working programs with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Czech Republic and relevant agencies.
