Speaking at the event, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung congratulated China on its achievements over 76 years of nation-building. He highlighted the country’s progress since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (in 2012) under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping at its core, including the successful building of a moderately prosperous society and an increasingly prominent global role in security, development, and governance.

He also noted that, under the strategic direction of top leaders from both countries, Vietnam–China relations have grown stronger and more substantive, marked by enhanced political trust, high-level exchanges, deepened strategic connectivity, robust economic and investment cooperation, and the constructive handling of differences based on mutual respect and international law.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung affirmed that Vietnam is ready to work with China to deepen their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, build a shared future based on the “six major orientations,” and promote multilateralism, international solidarity, and cooperation in addressing traditional and non-traditional security challenges, mobilizing resources for sustainable development, and strengthening regional and global connection for mutual benefit.
