The airline will cancel all flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong (China), as well as between the two Vietnamese cities and Guangzhou (China) on September 23 and 24.

For domestic operations, flights to and from Hai Phong’s Cat Bi Airport on September 24 will be rescheduled to depart and arrive before 11 am to ensure safety. Other domestic and international flights may also be subsequently affected.

The Vietnam Airlines Group advised passengers to keep their seatbelts fastened throughout the flight, even when the seatbelt light is switched off, as a precaution against turbulence caused by adverse weather conditions.

The carrier stressed that schedule changes are unavoidable due to force majeure and may continue to evolve depending on real-time developments.

Passengers are encouraged to stay updated through official communication channels, including the website www.vietnamairlines.com, the Vietnam Airlines mobile app, Zalo, the airline’s official Facebook page, ticket offices, authorized agents, or the customer service hotline 1900 1100.
