The Vietnam - China youth friendship meeting is an annual, rotating event co-organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China. Each country hosts around 100 delegates during each meeting.

Taking place from April 12 to 18, the meeting features various activities. This event aims to concretize the outcomes and high-level joint statements between the two countries, helping educate the young generation about the new developments in Vietnam - China relations.
The event is to enhance mutual understanding, foster exchanges, and share experience in youth union work and youth movements between the two organizations.

* The same day, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee organized a seminar, titled “Youth work gathers young intellectuals.”
Over the past time, various practical programs and models have been organized to promote the role and support the development of young intellectuals.
Outstanding initiatives include the establishment of the Global Network of Vietnamese Young Intellectuals and the organization of the Global Forum of Vietnamese Young Intellectuals, which annually gather 200 outstanding young Vietnamese representatives from 21 countries across 52 different professional fields. In addition, the Golden Globe Award has become a bridge and a well-deserved honor for hundreds of outstanding young scientists, exemplary figures of Vietnamese intellect in the era of integration and innovation.
In the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of uniting and mobilizing young intellectuals, creating an environment that encourages greater participation of talented youth, especially in key areas such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, digital economy, science, and healthcare.
The Chinese youth delegates noted that ideals and belief serve as a "master switch" enabling youth, especially young intellectuals, to grow and develop comprehensively. Therefore, one of the main focuses of the Communist Youth League of China is to strengthen ideological orientation, foster revolutionary ideals, and build firm belief among the younger generation.
Alongside ideological work, the Chinese Youth League is also accelerating efforts to build foundations for innovation and start-up. The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China actively collaborates with enterprises and research institutes to develop models to encourage young intellectuals to lead in research and development of strategic core technologies.
