PANO - The Vingroup Corporation officially started a 45-floor tower in Hai Phong City on September 18. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the project.

The 45-storey building is part of the Vinhomes Riva City urban area project invested in by Vingroup on an area of over 30,000 sq.m. With the height of 148 meters, the tower will be the highest structure in the northern coastal region.

It will include a shopping center on the first and second floors, and part of the third storey. A five-star hotel with 300 rooms will be arranged from the fourth to the 45th floor. Gym, fitness and spa centers, and swimming pools will be also included in the building.

As scheduled, the shopping center will be completed at the end of next year and the hotel will be put into operation in late 2018.
