PANO - The Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) signed a US$ 200 million syndicated loan with 18 international banks, led by BNP Paribas and Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank, on March 10th in Taipei (Taiwan, China).
Taipei Fubon Financial Holding Corporation President Jerry Harn, CEO of BNP Paribas Hanoi Branch Nguyen Thi Duc Hanh, VietinBank Deputy General Director Tran Binh Minh and other senior leaders of international banks attended the event.

Addressing the signing ceremony, Deputy General Director Minh highly valued the support from the Asian region's banks over the past time, and said that the loan proves the trust of the global and regional banks in Vietnam's second biggest bank.
According to the latest release "Banking 500 - The world’s most valuable banking brands" of the financial consultancy organization Brand Finance, VietinBank was ranked among the top 400 banks with its brand name's value of US$ 249 million.
