Retail petrol prices up on April 24
The retail prices of petrol were revised on April 24 following the latest adjustment by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance.
Accordingly, E5 RON92 petrol has been capped at 19,238 VND (0.74 USD) per liter, up 740 VND, while RON95-III petrol now costs 19,638 VND per liter, an increase of 782 VND.

The price of diesel 0.05S is now sold for no more than 17,524 VND per liter, up 487 VND, and kerosene 17,715 VND per liter, up 531 VND. Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is priced at 16,524 VND per kg, up 564 VND.
Since the beginning of this year, RON95 petrol have undergone nine price hikes and eight cuts. Diesel oil has increased seven times, decreased eight times, and remained unchanged once.
In this adjustment, the authorities opted not to use the petrol and oil price stabilization fund for any of the fuel categories.
