The biggest map of Vietnam ever made out of coffee beans was unveiled by Nestle Company on Dec 10th, 2008 at the Buon Me Thuot Coffee Festival 2008 in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dac Lac Province.
The map, 1.5m wide and 3m long, was created using coffee beans by visitors to the festival on Dec 11th. The map was designed to highlight Dac Lac Province, the coffee production center of Vietnam, which is currently the biggest coffee exporting country in the world.
Dac Lac is also the main coffee supplier to the Nestle Company, maker of famous Nescafe products in numerous international markets.
The map was then handed over to the Trade and Tourism Department of Dac Lac by Nestle.
