The event draws attention of a number of visitors

Themed “Building green future,” the exhibition draws the participation of more than 200 exhibitors, including 13 country pavilions, in different fields such as renewable energy, smart cities, sustainable agriculture, circular economy, waste and sewage treatment, and environment. It also features projects and solutions related to the event’s theme.

More than 30 discussion sessions on 10 green topics during the GEFE 2024 will focus on expertise, technologies, policy issues, regulations on sustainable development, green transformation, carbon market, businesses’ reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Cutting the ribbon to start the GEFE 2024

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son spoke highly of policies and measures that Vietnam has been implementing to boost green, sustainable economy and the country’s cooperative ties with the European Union (E.U.) in the field. The leader underlined that Vietnam is willing to further its cooperation with the E.U. in finance, technology, and green market development. He hoped the two sides would continue to carry out cooperation projects related to sustainable development and other cooperation programs so as to promote green, sustainable economy in Vietnam.
