Fuel prices fall on 2025’s last day
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance announced the latest fuel price adjustment, effective from 15:00 on December 31, with all petrol and oil products witnessing decreases.
Accordingly, E5RON92 petrol is sold at the maximum of 18,438 VND (0.7 USD) per liter, down 278 VND from the baseline price, and RON95-III at 18,917 VND per liter, down 89 VND.

The price of diesel 0.05S decreases by 2 VND to 17,255 VND per liter, and that of kerosene fell by 15 VND to 17,694 VND per liter. Mazut 180CST 3.5S is now sold at 13,345 VND per kilogram at the maximum, down 37 VND.
The two ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilization fund for any of the fuel categories. In 2025, Vietnam has seen a total of 53 fuel price adjustments.
