Fuel prices cut for fourth straight adjustment
Retail fuel prices in Vietnam fell for a fourth consecutive week from 3p.m. on June 18 under an adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

In the latest price adjustment, the retail price of E5RON92 biofuel was capped at 20,126 VND (0.76 USD) per liter, down 1,206 VND and 627 VND lower than that of E10RON95-III. Meanwhile, the maximum price of 0.05S diesel fell by 2,343 VND to 23,534 VND per liter. Mazut also declined by 1,928 VND to 16,680 VND per kilogram.
The publication of the E10RON95-III base price began from this pricing period under Government Resolution No. 29/2026/NQ-CP, as part of efforts to align domestic fuel prices with global market developments and improve price management.
As of June 18, Vietnam’s petrol and oil prices remained lower than those in neighboring countries, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
