PANO - A delegation of 13 French companies will be in Vietnam from September 14th to September 16th 2011 to take part in the "French Pavilion” organized by UBIFRANCE Vietnam during the second edition of the GREEN-BIZ exhibition on environment and sustainable development held at the Saigon White Palace.

GREEN-BIZ is organized by the EuroCham (European Chamber of Commerce) in partnership with the VCCI (Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce) and the ITPC (Investment & Trade Promotion Centre).

The French delegation will be the main European delegation on GREEN-BIZ 2011. This GREEN-BIZ 2011 participation aims at strengthening the links between French and Vietnamese entities and companies in this sector, and at developing sustainable partnerships, as well as commercial, industrial or technological cooperation.

With an average GDP growth of over 7% per year for the last 20 years, a population growing by about 1 million per year (100 million inhabitants estimated for 2020 against 87 million today), an outstanding urbanization (45% in 2020 against 30% in 2010) and an industrial production growth reaching twice as much as GDP’s growth, the opportunities in Vietnam in the fields of environment and sustainable development are numerous and called to grow strongly.

French companies which will participate are APB ENVIRONNEMENT, ARIA TECHNOLOGIES, ARTELIA INTERNATIONAL, BOUYGUES BATIMENT INTERNATIONAL, ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE, HMI INNOVATION, HOCER, PRIAMA, SALMSON, VAUCHE SA, VEOLIA WATER VIETNAM & VINCI CONSTRUCTION GRANDS PROJETS. Some of these companies are already present and active in Vietnam. The Vietnamese representation of the AFD-Agence Française de Développement will also be present on our French Pavilion.

These companies will be in a position, thanks to the very comprehensive conference program proposed to them, to reach a better understanding of the expectations of the country in various fields such as :
