Speaking at the opening ceremony, Do Thi Quynh Tram, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, said the fair aims to provide a platform for connecting supply and demand, helping businesses promote their products and expand markets, while also catering to the shopping demand for the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Localities joining the fair are Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Thap, as well as two provinces from Laos - Champasak and Attapeu.
The fair features a diverse range of products and services, focusing on items for Tet such as food and beverages, regional specialties, OCOP products, and rural and industrial goods; fashion, footwear, cosmetics, and sports equipment; health care products and beauty services; household items, interior and exterior décor, and handicrafts; as well as equipment, technology, and services in sectors like electronics, automobiles, and telecommunications.
In addition to the exhibition and shopping activities, the organizers are running a daily sale program, along with cultural, artistic, and entertainment events to attract residents and tourists.
The 2026 spring fair continues to be a familiar destination for businesses and consumers, contributing to effectively implementing measures to market stabilization measures, boosting domestic consumption, increasing purchasing power, and promoting sustainable development of the domestic market.
The fair will run until January 27.
