The workshop, costing 232 billion VND (10 million USD), is located in the Tam Hiep Industrial Park in Tam Hiep commune, Nui Thanh district, in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.

At the groundbreaking ceremony

The Kärcher Vietnam cleaning equipment manufacturing plant is expected to draw over 300 workers and have a total investment of more than 20 million EUR (21.8 million USD) in the first phase.

The Indusvalley Chu Lai JSC plans to hand over the workshop in the first phase to Kärcher Vietnam on August 31.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, General Director of the Indusvalley Chu Lai JSC and An An Hoa Group Le Thi Nghia said the company will build a chain of pre-built or custom-designed workshops in the IP, ranging from 1,500 sq.m  to over 15,000 sq.m., enabling domestic and foreign investors to have factories that are designed and functionally suitable for each type of operation, optimize the use of space, save their initial investment costs and focus on investing in production lines.

Kärcher is an international corporation based in Germany, with 17 production facilities and warehouses around the world. As of the end of 2021, Kärcher had over 14,400 employees in 78 countries. It plans to put its factory in Vietnam into operation in January 2024.
