The fair features 800 booths of 230 businesses operating in the coffee sector, including 65 booths of 18 foreign enterprises.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha, who is also head of the festival organizing board, said that the event aims at promoting coffee products of Dak Lak and Vietnam at large to both domestic and foreign visitors.

It also offers a chance for enterprises, scientists and farmers to meet and promote trade, investment and technology transfer.

Visitors are also treated to coffee products right in Vietnam’s “coffee capital” and entertained with art performances of the ethnic minority groups, Ha added.

The fair will remain open to visitors until March 13.
