The Bkav Corporation recently displayed its international-standard SmartHome solution and smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show "CES 2015" in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States.

The complete smart home system helps users manage and control their house through a 3D interface built on a mobile device or through a voice-controlled virtual assistant. It will control the house's lighting and sound systems, air conditioning, curtains, as well as the TV, security cameras and raise a warning in case of a gas leak. It can also update changes to meet the new demands of users.

Vu Thanh Thang, Vice President of the Bkav Hardware Division, said Bkav SmartHome topped the world in technology. "We are boosting commercial activities to bring the product to the international markets so that made-in-Vietnam smart home solutions not only lead in technology, but also become symbolic of the best brand and commerce," he said.

The enterprise's product has been showcased at foreign exhibitions globally, such as the New York Build Expo in the United States and the CeBIT, an International Trade Fair for Information Technology in Germany.

Thang said exhibiting the Bkav SmartHome at CES 2015 is part of its plan to expand globally.

Bkav's other product – it's first-ever smartphone – was also displayed at the big event. A project to produce its own smartphones was initiated in 2010. The five-inch smartphone uses microprocessors from chipmaker Qualcomm and has been designed and developed by Bkav engineers. It runs on the Android 5.0 operating system, which has been customised with the firm's interface.

CES 2015, scheduled to be held from January 6 to 9, features latest technology trends. Smart home solutions are one of most anticipated technology products at the event, which draws participation from many large companies in the world.

Research firm IDC estimates that the smart home market's value will reach 7.1 trillion USD by 2020.

Bkav Corporation, founded in 2001, works on a wide range of views, including cyber security, software, electronic government, intelligent electronic devices manufacturing and cloud computing services.
