The event, organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), drew more than 200 delegates representing ministries, localities, major corporations, supporting industries, leading suppliers, trade promotion organizations and the media.

Speaking at the ceremony, VCCI Chairman Ho Sy Hung said the program was not only an occasion to honor exemplary suppliers but also carried strategic significance in implementing the Party and State’s major policies on building a strong Vietnamese business community with regional and global competitiveness.
Amid the ongoing restructuring of global supply chains, Vietnamese suppliers must move beyond the role of simple production links to become strategic partners with technological capability, innovation capacity and value-chain governance aligned with sustainable development, he stressed.
He said the VCCI’s Excellent Supplier Program is designed to identify and commend enterprises with strong business performance and help build a robust network of domestic suppliers capable of deeper participation in global value chains.
Hung praised the program’s rigorous and objective selection process, carried out over months to shortlist winners from hundreds of interested applicants. The assessment criteria focused on three key pillars: operational capacity and production efficiency, technological capability and innovation, and value-chain governance and sustainable development, including supply chain participation, ESG standards and international certifications.
“The companies honored today clearly demonstrate that Vietnamese enterprises can meet the stringent requirements of the global market,” Hung said.
A representative of TOMECO, one of the recognized firms, said the title of “Vietnam Excellent Supplier 2025” should not be seen as an end point but rather as motivation for continued improvement. The greatest value of the program, the representative noted, lies in the self-review and serious evaluation process that helps businesses define long-term development paths based on operational excellence, innovation and sustainable value-chain management.
As part of the event, an exhibition area showcased products, solutions and capabilities of leading suppliers, facilitating direct connections between buyers and suppliers.
