Viettel meets Vietnam business culture standards 2022
PANO - The Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) has received the certificate “Enterprises Meeting Standards of Vietnam Business Culture,” as revealed by the group on December 5.
The certificate handover ceremony was held recently in the framework of the second edition of the annual national culture and business forum. Just 34 out of 857,000 enterprises operating in Vietnam were honored to receive such a certificate. In terms of telecommunications, Viettel was the first enterprise awarded this certificate.
Meeting the standards of business culture helps Viettel show its role as the country’s key economic group.

The core aim of the program recognizing enterprises meeting the standards of Vietnam business culture launched by the Prime Minister is to promote the building of a business culture of the Vietnamese business community at home and abroad, gradually forming typical characteristics of the Vietnamese business culture, and meeting requirements for sustainable development and international integration. Alongside law observance, enterprises receiving the certificate must meet criteria in five field groups, which are leading the enterprises to develop sustainably, building and implementing business culture, law observance, business ethics, and social responsibility.
Viettel’s business culture has been built to distinguish itself, create competitiveness to meet its mission of “Be creative for the people,” its philosophy “Doing business in close attachment to social responsibility,” eight key values and standards of Viettel people and its code of conduct.
For many consecutive years, Viettel has been the enterprise with the best workplace in information technology and telecommunications and one of the three best workplaces in Vietnam. The group has topped the list of 1,000 tax-payers in Vietnam. In the 2015-2021 period, it contributed nearly VND 268 trillion to the state budget. So far, Viettel has contributed about VND 15 trillion to social responsibility activities.
