After 35 years of construction and development, Viettel has become the largest telecommunications company in Vietnam, an important economic group of the country with a brand value of nearly USD 9 billion, the No.1 telecommunications brand in Southeast Asia, and the 15th position in the list of 150 telecommunications networks with the largest brand value globally.

Besides, Viettel has developed on four strategic pillars: Domestic and foreign telecommunications, information technology solutions, high-tech Industry, and e-commerce logistics.

Reportedly, over the past 35 years, Viettel’s consolidated total revenue reached more than VND 2.2 million billion, pre-tax profit was nearly VND 540 trillion. It is always the leading enterprise with contribution to the State budget, and reaching more than VND 433 trillion totally.

During the event, Viettel’s Chairman and General Director Major General Tao Duc Thang expressed his thanks to the Party and State leaders, ministries, organs, and branches, and former Viettel leaders over the past time, partners inside and outside the country, and more than 110 million customers globally, and Viettel staff’s relatives for supporting the company, helping it achieve such current achievements.

He affirmed that Viettel staff will try their best to develop the company, contributing to the strong development of science-technology and innovation in the country, becoming a global high-tech industrial corporation, and being a pioneer and key force in the digital and green transformation.

During the ceremony, Viettel was honored with the First-class Fatherland Protection Order. Previously, Viettel received the First-Class Independence Order in 2019, the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces in 2014, and the title of Labor Hero in 2007.
