Vietnam trade fair in Cambodia concludes
PANO - The Vietnam Trade Fair 2017 themed “Friendship, cooperation and development" has ended in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on November 22.
Certificates of merit were presented to 35 Vietnamese outstanding units and enterprises for their contributions to the success of the fair.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Vo Hong Thang, Head of the Department of Economics of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and Head of the fair’s organizing board, held that this year’s event was well organized with many attractive booths and various cultural activities, contributing to building mutual trust among the two sides’ businesses.
In the framework of the fair, nearly 300 enterprises took part in a forum on promoting Vietnam-Cambodia investment and trade, co-held in Cambodia by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam.
The program gave participants information about trade policies, preferential investment and at the same time offered them a good chance to share experiences and find potential partners. During the forum, the two sides signed five memorandums of understanding.
Besides, the well-organized fair has left good impressions on local authorities and residents.
On this occasion, authorized by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense’s leaders, the organizers presented certificates of merit to 35 Vietnamese outstanding units and enterprises for their contributions to the success of the fair.
This year’s fair played an important role in affirming the long-standing solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.
