Huge potential remains for stronger Vietnam – Slovakia cooperation
Vietnam and Slovakia still hold significant potential to further expand their cooperation in the future, Speaker of the National Council of Slovakia Richard Rasi told Vietnamese Ambassador to the Central European nation Pham Truong Giang.

During their meeting on May 27, Rasi said that in different positions he has held over the past years, he has always supported relations between the two countries.
He showed his delight at the recent strides of the bilateral relationship, affirming his readiness to promote the exchange of delegations at all levels, including those of the two countries’ parliaments.
The Speaker called on the two sides to resume the meeting of the Vietnam – Slovakia Intergovernmental Committee to review and discuss areas of high cooperation potential, stressing that Vietnam is a beautiful country with friendly and hospitable people and strong potential to attract tourists, including those from Slovakia.
For his part, Giang stated that Vietnam always regards Slovakia as a reliable and important partner in Central and Eastern Europe in particular, and within the European Union in general. He expressed confidence that the bilateral relationship will see new progress in the coming time, especially in trade, education and training, exchange of skilled laborers, and cultural and artistic exchanges.
The diplomat expressed his hope that the two countries will increase mutual visits, especially high-level ones, in 2025 to strengthen political trust and further deepen their traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation.
