Vietnamese swimmers achieve 15 gold medals
PANO – The Vietnamese swimming team has won a number of prizes at the on-going SEA Age Group Swimming Championships in Brunei.

Accordingly, Nguyen Huu Kim Son won four golds after finishing the U15 boys’ 400m freestyle, 200m medley, and 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle events.
In addition, Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram clinched additional two gold medals from the U15 girls’ 100m backstroke and 50m freestyle events.
Nguyen Huy Hoang also won two golds for the U18 boys’ 400m freestyle and 200m medley.
Swimmer Vu Thi Phuong Anh contributed two golds at the U18 girls’ 200m medley and 4x200m freestyle, while Ngo Ngoc Thi pocketed one gold at the U15 girls’ 100m butterfly.
After the first day, Vietnam has defended its title at the SEA Age Group Swimming Championships by winning an outstanding 15 golds and 12 silvers.
