Vietnamese badminton star to compete in French Open
Vietnam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh will compete in the Yonex French Open 2017, which begins today in Paris.

Olympian Minh is world No.65, forcing him to enter the qualifying round.
There are 16 players competing in the qualifying round, with the top four entering the main draw.
Minh will face Mark Caljouw of the Netherlands, world No.45 today.
If Minh wins, he will meet the winner of the match between Kenta Nishimoto of Japan and Ygor Coelho of Brazil.
The event, which runs until October 29, will have a total prize fund of USD 325,000.
