Also present were Major General Vu Viet Hoang, Commander of the Signal Corps; Major General Nguyen Van Tri, Political Commissar of the Signal Corps; and Major General Tran Ba Khuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Military Training and School Management under the General Staff of the VPA.

The U23 National Volleyball Tournament 2025 was held from July 12 to 26 in Thai Nguyen, bringing together 350 athletes and coaches from 17 teams (6 men’s and 11 women’s). The women’s volleyball club of the Signal Corps – Corps 19 achieved a remarkable record of eight consecutive wins to claim the championship title. In the final match, outstanding performances by rising talents Nguyen Huynh Phuong Thuy, Ngo Thi Bich Hue, and Pham Quynh Huong led the military team to a 3-0 victory over Hoa Chat Duc Giang – Lao Cai Club.

In his speech, on behalf of the VPA General Staff leadership, Major General Nguyen Ba Luc praised and congratulated the women’s volleyball club of the Signal Corps – Corps 19 for their outstanding performance in the 2025 U23 National Volleyball Tournament.

Major General Nguyen Ba Luc emphasized that the glorious achievements of the club over the years, especially their 2025 championship title, reflect their solid, comprehensive growth and reaffirm their leading position in Vietnamese women’s volleyball.

He called on relevant agencies of the General Staff of the VPA, the Signal Corps – Corps 19 to continue supporting the club with more investment in facilities, human resources, scientific and technological applications for training and competition. These efforts aim to ensure the club’s rapid and sustainable development, contributing to the overall progress of military and national sports, in line with the trust of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.

Representing the Party Committee and leadership of the Signal Corps, Major General Vu Viet Hoang emphasized that the club’s success was the result of well-directed investment in coaching personnel, athlete training programs, and the quality and depth of the training system. It also showcases the club’s steady growth and development.

At the ceremony, the Signal Corps leadership awarded certificates of merit to outstanding individuals and collectives. Corps 19 presented a reward of VND 100 million to the club for winning the 2025 U23 national title and pledged to sponsor the installation of an air conditioning system at the club’s training hall.
